Membership and GroupWorks
Our chapter is located in Montgomery County in Southeast Pennsylvania. As you can see on the map to the left, there are numerous chapters in Pennsylvania for you to participate in. Chapter Y, primarily serves riders in SE PA in the following counties: Bucks, Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, and Philadelphia.
For various events held by other chapters in PA, we will organize group rides and sometimes overnight trips to participate in those events and make many new friends along the way.
There are no membership fees directly to our Chapter Y, as we are part of the national organization, Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA). Once a member of GWRRA, you can connect with a local chapter to participate! Please click the link to learn more about GWRRA and how to join!
Our chapter posts Newsletters, Ride Events, Dinner Events, and other news using a free online bulletin board system called GroupWorks. The GWRRA also uses this to communicate information to its members. This is easy to sign up once you are a GWRRA Member and to get associated with a chapter.
To sign up, Please contact our Chapter Director or Membership Enchancement Coordinator using the email PAchapterYgoldwings@gmail.com , and provide us with your preferred current email address, name, phone number (in case we have questions or if there is a typo) and request to be added to the GroupWorks list. It is as simple as that! We will get back to you with additional information once you are added to the Members list. You will receive an email from GroupWorks so you can go to the main page and log in.
If you just received that email, you can click on the GroupWorks Logo above to be taken to the "Sign In" page. There are many ways to customize your email notifications, group interests, and views, so please explore your settings and contact a member if you have any questions.
This is a great way to view events, who RSVP'd for a ride, and get news all on your computer, tablet, or your smart phone.
